Why you need a Divorce Concierge?

]There have been a lot of attorneys who have frowned upon the term “divorce coach” or “divorce concierge.” However, at Bowen Law Firm, we feel that women can benefit from having someone by their side to assist with traversing the more emotional toll a divorce takes on a person. A divorce concierge (or coach) doesn’t replace your need for adequate legal counsel. However, they can help you navigate the process and provide necessary referrals and resources.

It’s not about the legalities

While a concierge is not here to replace legal professionals in a divorce case, they are able to help women gain clarity, maintain open communication with their legal team and point them in the right direction for other professionals they may need for their new life.

The concierge can help you set appointments, work through to-do lists, vet various professionals, and support you through the labor-intensive process of divorce. The concierge may assist a woman over 50, who is divorcing, with referrals to accountants and financial professionals who they may need to work with in order to maintain financial security after the legal team has secured a financial win for them in the divorce.

The concierge may also help a divorcing stay at home wife find appropriate professionals to assist with maintenance on a home or car secured through a divorce; or interview a daycare provider or nanny. The concierge may also provide therapeutic resources needed due to the fall-out of the marriage.

The services provided by a divorce concierge run the gamut, covering the endless details involved with ending one lifestyle and embarking on another. They can help clients at any stage of the process, from those who are just contemplating a divorce, to those in the midst of the legal proceedings, to those whose divorce is finalized and are looking to start over.

Navigating unknown territories

Divorce Concierge Groups are popping up all over the place. You can do a simple Google search and find individuals who actually do this as a business. However, there are few law firms who employ a Divorce Concierge.
